I had forgotten all about doing this fun .gif shoot with Freeman’s Sporting Club last year until running across them again just now. I’ve just been giggling over how funny some of them are. If you live in NYC you’ve got to check the clothing store, restaurant AND barber shop out.
Their clothing is an incredible line of insanely comfortable menswear all handcrafted and made in the USA (usually no more than 10miles from the store itself). I’m a menswear nerd and their clothing slouches PERFECTLY on a female frame.

So I’m going through purpleTV’s archive and I came across this little gem
“This is a short film by William Strobeck who describes it as ‘So basically I had filmed a bunch of stuff of family and friends within the last year using Super 8 film and computer video chats.Recently i was asked to make a film for a “one night only” showing here in New York.So I took this footage I knew I had and edited it together to where i think everything fit properly. This is what came to be “My Lovely Mess” Starring Chris Kennedy, Lizzi Bougatsos, Chloe Sevigny, Lilly Ludlow, Stacy Strobeck, Tara Subkoff, David Clark, Alex Olson, Lil’ Naomi and Natasha Lyonne.”
It’s really good inspiration for the film footage I want to take on an upcoming roadtrip.

Can we all just marvel at how good this is. It just reminds me to never write anyone off. Yes of course Rookie is going to choose an amazing human being to do one of these videos. And Yes of course I’ll probably like it. But really this dude could be any number of random, awkward dudes out there in the world. And it only took me 10 minutes and 11 seconds of just listening to him talk to think…we could definitely be best friends…and I think I might want to date you.
